It was a good run, but the Canton Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 43-27 fall against Cheyenne/Reydon.
Cheyenne/Reydon found their leader in underclassman Kimbo Denney, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kynli Carlson, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 20-3. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.
Canton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cheyenne/Reydon also has no future games currently scheduled.
