The Leadership Academy Falcons won the last time they faced the Carver Yellowjackets, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Leadership Academy came out on top against Carver by a score of 50-38.
Leadership Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emmy Guldberg, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Guldberg is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addy Guldberg, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
Leadership Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Carver, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
Leadership Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against College Prep & Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. College Prep & Leadership Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Carver, they will head out on the road to face off against Bethany at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
