The D DME Academy and the Morris Catholic Crusaders will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard on Friday.
D is ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Grind Prep. D fell 72-63 to Grind Prep.
Meanwhile, Morris Catholic put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Plainfield 77-36 on the road. Morris Catholic has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 41 points or more this season.
Mia Pauldo continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. Pauldo is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Brown, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
D's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Morris Catholic, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0.
