This season hasn't been kind to the Chief Kitsap Academy Bears, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were outmatched by Crescent on the road and fell 74-17. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Chief Kitsap Academy in their matchups with Crescent: they've now lost six in a row.
Lukas Love continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crescent, scoring 32 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Love has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dominiq Sprague, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Chief Kitsap Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.9 points per game. As for Crescent, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chief Kitsap Academy will square off against Neah Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Neah Bay is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games. As for Crescent, Crescent and Clallam Bay will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
