Warwick is 2-8 against New Rockford-Sheyenne since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warwick Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Warwick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully New Rockford-Sheyenne likes a good challenge.
Warwick pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 63-56 to Larimore.
Meanwhile, New Rockford-Sheyenne also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] by a score of 52-45.
Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for New Rockford-Sheyenne, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Warwick beat New Rockford-Sheyenne 72-63 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Warwick since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
