Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Delbarton Green Wave walked away with it. They managed a 14-9 victory over Don Bosco Prep on Friday. The win was nothing new for Delbarton as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Delbarton can attribute much of their success to Phillip Folmar, who rushed for 104 yards on only eight carries. Folmar was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.
Delbarton's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Don Bosco Prep, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Delbarton will look to defend their home field on November 18th against Seton Hall Prep at 1:00 p.m. Seton Hall Prep will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Don Bosco Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
