It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the St. Joseph Academy Flashes had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Warriors onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's another feather in the cap for St. Joseph Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Owen Camp and
Kyle Jackson, who scored both of St. Joseph Academy's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 14 so far this season.
The victory got St. Joseph Academy back to even at 7-7-2. As for Harvest Community, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
St. Joseph Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Christ's Church Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Christ's Church Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Harvest Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
