Nixon-Smiley's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Three Rivers Bulldogs 3-0. The game marked the Mustangs' most dominant win of the season.

Nixon-Smiley never let Three Rivers on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 25-15.

Nixon-Smiley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season. As for Three Rivers, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nixon-Smiley will welcome Pettus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Three Rivers, they will host Ingleside at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
