Wakeland has gone a perfect 4-0 against Creekview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wakeland Wolverines will challenge the Creekview Mustangs at 6:45 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Creekview will be up against a hot Wakeland squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Wakeland was the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Highland Park on Friday. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.
Jordan Mcnees looked comfortable as she struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Claire Schreiner, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Maggie Drake was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Wakeland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Creekview never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against Turner as Creekview made off with a 14-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.
Kelis Lee was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was even better at the plate, firing off three triples, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Kaelani Rogers was a standout: she scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was MacKenzie Martin, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Wakeland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Creekview, their record now sits at 13-9.
Wakeland was able to grind out a solid win over Creekview in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wakeland since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
