Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Saxony Lutheran walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Seckman Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Crusaders yet this season.

Despite the loss, Seckman still got an impressive performance from Tate Gonzalez, who had 16 digs and one assist. Gonzalez has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times he's played.

The victory snapped Saxony Lutheran's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-14 record. As for Seckman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season.

Saxony Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Notre Dame on the 10th. Seckman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
