Huss' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Zaiyir 'Zii' Phillips, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 22 points along with seven assists and six steals, and Jaleel Smith, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 assists. Smith's afternoon made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Johnterious 'Zach' Anderson was another key player, shooting 71% from the field on his way to 12 points.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Huss was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
