Tenor's's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They snuck past Cristo Rey with a 68-64 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Tenor to victory were Quintyn Robinson and Shane Emanuel. Robinson scored 26 points, while Emanuel scored 26 points. The match was Emanuel's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Kyrell Davis was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Tenor has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Cristo Rey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Tenor will head out on the road to face off against Salam at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Salam's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Cristo Rey will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on University School of Milwaukee at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
