The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans will square off against the Halifax Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Upper Dauphin Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Upper Dauphin Area got a great performance from Conner Wenrich as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
On the hitting side, Hunter Grassmyer was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Erdley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Halifax had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They came out on top against the Buffaloes by a score of 7-3.
Will Steinhauer and Cooper Custer did most of the damage at the plate: Steinhauer went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double, while Custer went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cohen Bechtel, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Halifax's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Upper Dauphin Area, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Upper Dauphin Area has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Halifax struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Upper Dauphin Area suffered a grim 14-4 defeat to Halifax in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Trojans have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
