The biggest upset of the week belonged to Northwest Catholic, who took down 53rd ranked Northwest Catholic, 7-6. David Campbell ran for 130 yards and caught two passes for nine yards in the win.
Rocky Hill's Chris Young rumbled for the longest rushing play in Central Connecticut III West this season in his game against East Catholic last week. Young scampered for 96 yards on the play and finished with 247 on the day as his team beat the Eagles.
Terrence Mitchell put up the best numbers through the air as Bloomfield topped the Indians. He had a total of four completions for 21 yards.
The Warhawks' Pedro Roman and Norvel Stewart have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Roman has thrown for 408 yards this season, while Stewart, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has nine catches for 211 yards. Young from Rocky Hill leads the league in rushing with 569 yards.
Bloomfield and Northwest Catholic played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Bloomfield eventually emerging with a 7-6 victory. Campbell in the win.
