Interlachen is 0-8 against Buchholz since March of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Rams will head out to face off against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Interlachen is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
Interlachen took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Taylor, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams skirted past the Wildcats 8-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Julianis Morales was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. India McMeekin also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Interlachen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.
Buchholz let Bradford stack six runs on them in the second inning on Tuesday but luckily Buchholz prevailed anyway. The Bobcats came out on top against the Tornadoes by a score of 10-6. The game was the first time the Bobcats have beaten the Tornadoes on their field since April 12, 2021.
Grace Lariz-McDaniel made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jordyn Cooper, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases and four runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Quaniyah Robinson, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI.
The win got Interlachen back to even at 4-4. As for Buchholz, their record is now 7-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Interlachen has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Buchholz struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Interlachen couldn't quite finish off Buchholz when the teams last played two weeks ago and fell 6-4. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
