There's no place like home for the West Washington Senators, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Lanesville, posting a 54-27 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win West Washington has managed all season.
Gene Klusmeier and Eli Guernsey certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Klusmeier scored eight points along with three steals, while Guernsey scored six points.
West Washington's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Lanesville, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
West Washington and Springs Valley will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Lanesville, they will head out on the road to face off against Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lanesville in Indiana (Christian Academy is ranked 96th, while Lanesville is ranked 413th).
