Warner is 8-2 against Calexico Mission since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Warner Wildcats will get right back to it and host the Calexico Mission RoadRunners at 5:00 p.m. Warner will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
On Monday, Warner got the win against Julian by a conclusive 69-43. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Warner's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Malachi Lozano, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds, and Anthony Porras, who went 8 for 15 en route to 17 points along with seven assists and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Lozano a new career-high in assists (five). Johnny Garcia was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.
Warner smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Calexico Mission came up short against Julian on Wednesday and fell 50-40. The RoadRunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Warner will need focus on slowing down Leonardo Li, one of several Calexico Mission players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sergio Jacobo, who had six points in addition to 13 rebounds and five steals.
Warner has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.9 points per game. As for Calexico Mission, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Warner has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 36.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Calexico Mission struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.2 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Warner against Calexico Mission when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 54-22 win. Will Warner repeat their success, or does Calexico Mission have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
