Moffat County made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from third to first place in 3A Western Slope thanks to a 2-0 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile,
Olathe fell hardest in the standings, dropping from second all the way to fourth place after going 0-0 in the past week.
The Bulldogs had a successful week, as they won two total games to lead the league. Moffat County beat
Aspen 11-1 and the Skiers 9-4.
The Bulldogs' pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only four hits and seven walks, both of which led the league.
Moffat County's
Bubba Ivers struck out 13 Aspen hitters en route to an 11-1 victory on March 11. He gave up one hit and one run over six innings of work.
Ivers was an RBI machine on Monday, as he knocked in four runs during the Bulldogs' 11-1 win over the Skiers. He went 3-for-3.
