The biggest upset of the week belonged to Zephyrhills, who took down 277th ranked Fivay, 35-28.
Pasco extended the longest winning streak in 5A District 6 this week by beating Ridgewood, 45-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
The Falcons' dynamic duo of Tyler Degen and Andrew Meyer proved tough for the Bulldogs to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Degen threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns and Meyer had 152 yards receiving. Kevin Faulkner helped Fivay's passing attack out by catching five balls for 48 yards.
Noah Siegrist was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 145 yards on 28 carries as Hudson lost to Zephyrhills. Teammate Owen Derksen added to the ground attack by rushing for 49 yards.
Fivay's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Degen has thrown for 1436 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Meyer has 33 catches for 783 yards. Davion Sutton leads the league in rushing with 1137 yards.
The top two teams in 5A District 6 will face off this week when first place Pasco takes on second place Zephyrhills. Last week, Pasco defeated the Rams, while Reginald Roberts' team topped Chris Taylor's team.
The Bulldogs moved up to 318 from 353 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Zephyrhills was able to make move up by topping the Falcons 35-28.
