Pampa proved they can win big last Friday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Borger Bulldogs, sneaking past 8-7. While the Harvesters didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Pampa pushed their record up to 8-2-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Borger, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pampa will take on Hereford at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Pampa 3.1, Hereford 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Borger, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dumas at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
