Vian lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hartshorne, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Wolverines blew past the Miners 16-10 on Thursday. Considering the Wolverines have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Vian's third in a row) raised their record to 19-15. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Hartshorne, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10.

Vian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Oktaha on the 7th. As for Hartshorne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Colcord on the 7th.
