The Fellowship Academy Mustangs were the 62-21 winner over the Highlands Blazers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Fellowship Academy took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Highlands. Fellowship Academy can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their four games.
Despite the loss, Fellowship Academy saw an underclassman step up: Bryce Baker scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. Baker is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now blocked two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Maye, who scored 16 points.
Fellowship Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Highlands, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Fellowship Academy will head out on the road to face off against Victory Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Victory Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday. As for Highlands, they will be playing at home against Nazarene Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nazarene Christian Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
