  Dominick Vigil went supernova for Pinnacle,  going 8 of 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 26  points. Those 26 points gave  Vigil a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brody Howell, who  dropped  a double-double with 12  points and 19  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Monticello was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Monument Valley 71-22. The Buckaroo have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  contests by 21  points or more this season.
 Pinnacle's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Monticello, their win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 12-8.
 Things could have been worse for Pinnacle, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took  a  63-44 loss to Monticello when the teams last played  back in January.
