Fort Bend Clements' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Fort Bend Hightower, Ridge Point, and Fort Bend Austin. As for Fort Bend Dulles, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Fort Bend Clements didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Fort Bend Dulles in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 35-31 victory.
