The Marshall Rams suffered their biggest  defeat since November 10, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Brandeis 58-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Marshall has scored all season.
 It was another big night for  Rian Forestier, who  dropped  a double-double on 25 points and 18  rebounds for Brandeis. Forestier hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 27 straight games.  Abigail Burdette was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points.
 Marshall's defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Brandeis, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.
 Marshall will be playing in front of their home fans against Clark at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Clark's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last 11 games. As for Brandeis, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Lee at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. Lee is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.9  points per game.
