On Thursday, LaBelle take on Lake Placid at Roger Scarborough Stadium - Lake Placid at 6:00 PM. Neither LaBelle nor Lake Placid could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
LaBelle had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-44 to Barron Collier.
Meanwhile, Lake Placid couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against DeSoto County last Thursday, falling 0-37.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
