Landon Ward Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Landon Ward produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Willcox to the win on Friday. Ward made 11 total tackles and defended two passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (105.9). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
On the season, Ward has averaged 5.1 total tackles per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 51.29 rushing yards per game.

Sebastian Lopez Dazzles in Bisbee Victory
Bisbee picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Sebastian Lopez. Nobody could stop Lopez as he threw for 371 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards.
Palo Verde's probably not too fond of Lopez given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lopez saw the Titans), he rushed for 153 yards and six touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Ismael Cuevas Turns in Season-Best Performance
Willcox was led to victory by Ismael Cuevas, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Cuevas made 19 total tackles.
On the season, Cuevas has averaged 9.7 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.14 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 3.71 receiving yards.
