Rashad Dockery's Big Game Leads South View over Purnell Swett
Starting off the list is South View's Rashad Dockery, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dockery rushed for 202 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
The win was the third in a row for South View, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Dockery and South View will head out to square off against Gray's Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Ezekiel Reed stepped things up a notch to give Gray's Creek the 'W'. Reed turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Lumberton had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Reed it was a similar story. When Reed last faced the Pirates back in October of 2023, he rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

Seventy-First Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Donavan Frederick
Seventy-First picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Donavan Frederick. Nobody could stop Frederick as he rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Seventy-First's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Frederick and Seventy-First will look to defend their home field on Friday against Purnell Swett at 7:30 p.m.

Deandre Nance Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Deandre Nance's big game helped extend Seventy-First's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nance was excellent, rushing for 113 yards on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 151 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.1) per game.
Nance might have his next game, a road matchup with Purnell Swett, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Nance saw the Rams), he rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Cape Fear was led to victory by Bryan Charles, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Charles picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
If history really does repeat itself, Charles might just drop another big game when he faces off against Jack Britt on Friday. When Charles last faced the Buccaneers back in October of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
