The Rockwall Yellowjackets will challenge the Lindale Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
On Monday, Rockwall came up short against Grapevine and fell 11-7. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Addyson Solberg was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Solberg was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Addison Edgington was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Meanwhile, Lindale got the win against Caddo Mills on Monday by a conclusive 9-2. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Foxes recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Like Rockwall, Lindale also got a great game from a two-way player: Kenlee Keith. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts Keith has posted since back in February of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makynli Zemer, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Emma Watkins, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Rockwall now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lindale, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
