Lawrence Academy/Albemarle School ended up on the wrong side of a tough 32-8 walloping at the hands of Halifax Academy on Friday. The low total for Lawrence Academy/Albemarle School limited their streak of high-flying scores to three in a row.
Wayne Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Liberty Christian Academy and 0-4 Beacon Hill HomeSchool (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 33.3% over those games). As for Lawrence Academy/Albemarle School, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
