American Leadership Academy found a leader in Ryan Hiss as the squad took down Judge Memorial Catholic on Thursday. Hiss scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in six of her seven plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Hiss and American Leadership Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Providence Hall at 3:30 p.m. on April 8. Hiss has dominated as far as stolen bases are concerned (she's averaged 1.6 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Patriots have only allowed 1.2 per game this season.
