The Camdenton Lakers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their tenth straight loss. They suffered a tough 62-38 loss at the hands of Chillicothe. Camdenton has not had much luck with Chillicothe recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Chillicothe got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Trout out in front who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. That's the first time this season that Trout pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Langsten Johnson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Camdenton bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Chillicothe, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Camdenton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Waynesville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chillicothe, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Paul Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
