Mountain View's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bresais Escalante, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds. Escalante has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Natalia Salas was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Mountain View is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Ysleta, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

As for Ysleta, they will head out on the road to face off against Chapin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Chapin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
