After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Tates Creek, Corbin was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Southwestern Warriors with a sharp  14-5 victory. The  matchup marked the Redhounds' most dominant  win of the  season so far.

 Lucas Tarvin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   five  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Noah Cima was a standout: he scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in May of 2024.  Cam Estep was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Corbin was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwestern only posted a  batting average of  .154.
Corbin now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Southwestern, their record now sits at an identical 3-2.
 Coming up, Corbin will head out to  face off against Sayre  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Sayre will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Corbin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southwestern, they will be playing at home against Danville  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Southwestern's pitchers better be ready for this one: Danville has averaged an impressive 8  runs per game this season.
