The Moore Lions lost against the Norman North Timberwolves back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Moore fell just short of Norman North by a score of 50-48. Moore has not had much luck with Norman North recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Seleh Harmon went supernova for Norman North, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Harmon has scored at least 25% of Norman North's points. Lydia Plummer was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Norman North, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moore won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westmoore at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Norman North, they will head out on the road to face off against Edmond North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
