Baseball Recap: Philo Takes a Loss

The Philo Electrics didn't have quite enough to beat the Caldwell Redskins on Friday and fell 5-3.

Cooper Roush was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Philo's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-2 (and 2-6 when he doesn't).

Philo now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Caldwell, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
