Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Central HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Greyson Boyd, who scored 21 points. Boyd hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Knox Cooper, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and five assists.
Heritage Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for East Central HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Heritage Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Coosa Valley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Coosa Valley Academy is ranked 387th, while Heritage Christian Academy is ranked 376th). As for East Central HomeSchool, they will be playing at home against Ezekiel Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
