Killingly has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Killingly posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 60-40 margin over Lyman Memorial. Killingly has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Norwich Free Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 65-23 victory over Griswold at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Norwich Free Academy.
The win got Killingly back to even at 5-5. As for Norwich Free Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Killingly skirted past Norwich Free Academy 32-30 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Killingly since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
