Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-Center). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 18-17 win over the Jefferson Yellowjackets on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won six games in a row.

Tri-Center's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Jefferson, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-26.

Tri-Center has already played their next matchup (against IKM/Manning), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jefferson, they are taking a road trip to square off against Sioux City West at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
