The Parkwood Wolf Pack entered their tilt with the Monroe Redhawks with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. Parkwood narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Monroe  59-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory Parkwood has posted  yet this season.
 Parkwood got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cameron McKinney out in front who  scored 27 points along with seven  rebounds. McKinney is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's  now  scored 15 or more in the last 11 games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Malik Paulhill, who  scored 14 points along with five  assists and four  steals.
 Parkwood pushed their record up to 9-6 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkwood will take on Piedmont at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Piedmont's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last four matches. As for Monroe, they will be playing at home against Central Academy at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Central Academy is coming into the  matchup on a four-game losing streak.
