Hayden Yelverton Delivers Electric Effort Vs Valor Preparatory Academy
Starting off the list is Community Christian's Hayden Yelverton, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Yelverton rushed for 255 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.
This season, Yelverton has averaged 25.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had ten rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 24.

West Texas T picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Isaac Kelly. Kelly was dynamite, rushing for 135 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch
West Texas T pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Kelly and West Texas T are on the road again on Saturday to play Richland Springs at 11:30 a.m.

Underclassman Tristan Knight Major Player in Hill County Victory
While it always takes a team to win, one person punching above their weight class on Saturday was Tristan Knight. He was unstoppable, rushing for 157 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.
Knight must have Big Springs Charter's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Knight saw the BSCS Hawks), he rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Jace Little Makes It Two for Community Christian
Another Community Christian player making an appearance on this list is Jace Little. He rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 109 receiving yards.
This year, Little has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 41.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 17.43 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 100.14 rushing yards.
