On Wednesday, the Bourgeois Braves humbled the Covington Lions with a 57-23 victory. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Jakharia Johnson was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 20 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cenae Celestine, who went 5 of 7 en route to 12 points and eight boards.

Bourgeois is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.9 points per game. As for Covington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
