South is 10-0 against Eastmoor Academy since March of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The South Bulldogs will stay at home for another game and welcome the Eastmoor Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, everything went South's way against Ponitz Career Tech as South made off with a 65-45 win.
South's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chris Stokes led the charge by scoring 16 points. Another player making a difference was Lajames Washington, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Eastmoor Academy beat Centennial 59-54 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eastmoor Academy.
James Nowell was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Eastmoor Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of King Moody, who scored 11 points.
South now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Eastmoor Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's contest: South have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 4 threes per game. However, it's not like Eastmoor Academy struggles in that department as they've been even better at 4.5 per game.
