The 6-foot-2, 180-pound cornerback starred at
Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) this season. He ranks at the nation's No. 7 cornerback.
Wright had been recruited by Michigan, Notre Dame and Rutgers. However, his recruitment slowed after a story surfaced detailing inappropriate tweets that he sent. Wright was later expelled from Don Bosco Prep.
Along with
Elijah Shumate and sophomore
Jabrill Peppers, Wright comprised arguably the nation's finest secondary this season. Shumate is on his way to Notre Dame, while Peppers projects as one of the top recruits in the Class of 2014.
Wright immediately becomes the standout recruit in a Colorado haul that also features
Westlake (Westlake Village, Calif.) defensive end
Justin Solis.
