Edison Gets a Boost from Joseph in 41-24 Defeat
Starting off the list is Edison's Sterling Joseph, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Joseph rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 55 yards.
Unfortunately for Palmetto, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Joseph. Joseph rushed for 147 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 47 receiving yards the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Arwin Jackson Delivers Best Effort of Season
Chaminade-Madonna was led to victory by Arwin Jackson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jackson rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 33 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 53 yards.
Avant Garde Academy had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Jackson it was a similar story. When Jackson last faced the Sharks back in November of 2023, he rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns.

Bekkem Kritza and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Bekkem Kritza was instrumental in extending Chaminade-Madonna's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Kritza as he threw for 122 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Logan Kelly's big game helped extend Chaminade-Madonna's winning streak to seven on Friday. Kelly produced his best game of the campaign : he picked up a sack and made four total tackles (4.0 for loss).

On Thursday, Edison had to settle for second even though Anthony Joicin put up the best numbers he has all season. Joicin picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made six total tackles.
