It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Carolina Forest had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over the Fort Dorchester Patriots. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The win was the eighth in a row for Carolina Forest, bringing their record up to 10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.1 points over those games. As for Fort Dorchester, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Carolina Forest will look to defend their home field on Friday against Summerville at 7:30 p.m. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Green Wave have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. Fort Dorchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
