Bridgeport has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 31-22 to Decatur on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bridgeport has scored all season.
Castleberry has been struggling recently, as they've lost 16 of their last 18 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season. As for Bridgeport, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-10.
Castleberry took a serious blow against Bridgeport in their previous meeting on January 9th, falling 61-24. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Castleberry was down 40-8.
