It was fun while it lasted, but Melrose-Mindoro's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They fell 56-46 to the Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers. The loss was the Mustangs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Melrose-Mindoro fell to 3-1. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Melrose-Mindoro will square off against Augusta at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, they will take on Alma Center Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Alma Center Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran likes a good challenge.
