In what's become a running theme this season, the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 58-37 margin over Kansas School for the Deaf. Winning may never get old, but Oklahoma School for the Deaf sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
It was another big night for RyJan Reininger, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bodee Flanary, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Despite the loss, Kansas School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Tyler McCallum, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that McCallum scored 15 or more points.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf and the Roadrunners will face off at 4:30 p.m. on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. New Mexico School for the Deaf has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 326 points over their last five matchups. As for Kansas School for the Deaf, they and the Leopards will face off at 12:00 p.m. on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Arkansas School for the Deaf is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
