The biggest upset of the week belonged to Legacy, who took down 36th ranked Fairview, 27-21. Phydell Paris ran for 167 yards and caught one passes for 11 yards in the win.
Ralston Valley extended the longest winning streak in 5A North Metro this week by beating Pomona, 30-22. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Mustangs.
Boulder's dynamic duo of River Addison and River Addison proved tough for Arvada West to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Addison threw for 393 yards and four touchdowns and Addison had 116 yards receiving. Demetrius Kennedy helped Boulder's passing attack out by catching five balls for 88 yards.
The Knights' Johnny Feauto and Sam Martin have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Feauto has thrown for 2268 yards this season, while Martin, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 52 catches for 812 yards. The Lightning's Paris leads the league in rushing yards with 880.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Fairview takes on the Panthers. Tom Mccartney's team is currently in third, while Pomona is in second.
The Wildcats led 5A North Metro in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Panthers.
